Lahore Knowledge Park Company (LKPC) hosted ‘Inspire Pakistan Knowledge Forum (IPKF) 2018’, to bring together academicians, representatives from industry, members from media, civil society and students from various universities of Lahore for an enlightening discussion on Pakistan’s potential to excel as a Knowledge Economy. Mr. Athar Osama, Member Science and Technology & ICT at Planning Commission was the keynote speaker at IPKF 2018. An insightful panel discussion on “Prospects and Challenges for Pakistan as an Emerging Knowledge Economy” was carried out by Ms. Asma Hyder, Member Social Sector at Planning Commission, Mr. Khurram Zafar, Executive Director of National Innovation Center (NIC), Ms. Simi Raheel, Transformational coach, Dr. Fazal Ahmad (SI), VC UET and Ms. Maryam Mohiuddin, Founder & Director of Social Innovation Lab. Dr. Atta-ur-Rahman, UNESCO Science Laureate and former Federal Minister Science & Technology attended the forum as the Guest of Honor and gave an expert talk on “Exciting World of Discovery”. Dr. Sohail Naqvi, Vice Chancellor Lahore University of Management Sciences was the Chief Guest at the forum.
